LVT (NY), CVT (NJ) | SDEP® Certified Sonographer | SonoPath Imaging Center, Lead Imaging Technician
Meghan Morse
Meghan Morse, A.A.S. Veterinary Technology, LVT, CVT, is an SDEP® Certified Clinical Sonographer for NJ Mobile, fueled by SonoPath. A distinguished graduate of Alfred State College, Meghan received the Outstanding Student Award for academic and professional achievement. Her stellar resume includes a position as a veterinary technician at an equine referral hospital where she worked within the hospital and its mobile unit assisting with surgery, internal medicine, theriogenology, and more. Here is where she began to focus on internal medicine and diagnostics.
Meghan’s commitment to animal health focused her career on the science and art of ultrasound. Her passion for ultrasound stems from a desire to learn new skills and procedures to enhance diagnostic efficiency, and she combines this with a keen interest in animal nutrition which is where she focuses much of her continued education.
Outside of her work with ultrasound, Meghan can be found with her Thoroughbred horse “Maverick” whom she broke and raised from one-year-old. When not riding, Meghan is often kayaking, fishing, or hiking with her rescue dog “Remi”. She lives in Pennsylvania with Remi and a kitten named “Tigger”. When she visits your hospital, see if you can guess Maverick’s registered name (rewatch Top Gun for clues!).
SonoPath CT Imaging Technology Assistant Kaitlyn Wood began her veterinary journey with an associate degree in science while apprenticing for a professional dog trainer. Since then, she has held multiple positions within animal hospitals including Banfield Pet Hospital and Animal Mansion as a receptionist, veterinary assistant, and technician. Through these roles she refined her technical skills and veterinary knowledge by assisting in surgeries, anesthetic procedures, performing radiographs, and routine examinations.
Kaitlyn’s passion for the psychology of dog behavior extends beyond her love for animals, and she is currently advancing her veterinary expertise as a student in a Certified Veterinary Technician program. Her commitment to the study of animal behavior and veterinary medicine has already led her to attend numerous seminars, conferences, and workshops deepening her understanding and expertise. She has a strong foundation in dog training, specializing in behavior modification for reactive/fear aggressive dogs as well as preparing dogs for therapy work and canine good citizen testing.
Outside of her stellar work within the SonoPath Imaging Center, Kaitlyn enjoys long walks and training her two German Shepherds Axel and Evil and is a dedicated gym-goer. She enjoys hiking with her fiancé and family, and she is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of all animals around her. When you meet her at the CT Center, ask her what book she is currently reading and which you should read next- her recommendations are spot on!

Otis
PATIENT
“Otis pictured here is a gentle giant, and came into our CT center because he was experiencing pain in his elbows. The CT scan was able to give the diagnosis of Elbow dysplasia with secondary degenerative joint disease. His treatment is followed by his Primary Veterinary Hospital and he is doing great! Can you believe he is 170lbs and only 8 months old in that photo??🥹”

Blue
PATIENT
“Meet our star patient Blue who came in for a CT scan today! ⭐️💙
Blue didn’t even notice his catheter placement and loved all the attention from the technicians. He did fantastic for his CT scan, and showed us all of his tricks with some biscuits!”

Preacher
PATIENT
“Thank you to the imaging center at @sonopath for taking such good care of Preacher during and after his CT today! He needed pretty much 0 recovery time from the anesthesia so he kept the technician very busy until I could get back there for him 😅 I think they are friends for life now.”
We appreciate you!
