Imaging Technology Assistant

Manu Maselli

Manu Maselli is the imaging technology assistant at SonoPath Imaging. Her career with animals began with university studies in marine biology in Florida before returning to her home state of New Jersey and completing her Associate of Science degree in Biology. For the last three years, she has worked at a veterinary hospital in Sparta as a patient care technician, assisting with sedation, monitoring hospitalizations, collecting samples, and much more.

Manu’s passion for biology inspires her role at SonoPath Imaging Center and with NJ Mobile where she assists veterinarians, sonographers, and with CT scans as needed. She is meticulously organized and tidy, able to maintain continuous monitoring of all patients, and is inspired by the animal care career field. Her interest in diagnostics and continual improvement within the animal care field has her constantly reading DVM360 and sharing articles with colleagues.

Outside of her work with SonoPath, Manu loves music, hiking, and visiting new restaurants. She lives in New Jersey with her Pitbull “Sage”, her crested gecko, a hermit crab, and a dendrobates tinctorius (a blue and black poison dart frog!). When you meet her, ask what type of animal farm her Nonno (“Grandfather” in Italian) had in Italy- his understanding of unconditional love for and from animals is what inspired her career to one of caring for them.

our patients trust us

Otis

PATIENT

Otis pictured here is a gentle giant, and came into our CT center because he was experiencing pain in his elbows. The CT scan was able to give the diagnosis of Elbow dysplasia with secondary degenerative joint disease. His treatment is followed by his Primary Veterinary Hospital and he is doing great! Can you believe he is 170lbs and only 8 months old in that photo??🥹”

Blue

PATIENT

“Meet our star patient Blue who came in for a CT scan today! ⭐️💙
Blue didn’t even notice his catheter placement and loved all the attention from the technicians. He did fantastic for his CT scan, and showed us all of his tricks with some biscuits!”

Preacher

PATIENT

“Thank you to the imaging center at @sonopath for taking such good care of Preacher during and after his CT today! He needed pretty much 0 recovery time from the anesthesia so he kept the technician very busy until I could get back there for him 😅 I think they are friends for life now.”
