PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dr. Tam Nolan Mengine has worked in both emergency and general practice in the Philadelphia area since 2004, most recently serving as Medical Director and sonographer for an 8-doctor general practice.  She left general practice in 2024 to pursue full time mobile cardiology and ultrasound consultations.  Her interest in cardiology and ultrasound initially developed during vet school and internship, and has further evolved under the mentorship of other specialists, as well as through the Veterinary Professional Studies program at the University of Liverpool.  She loves encouraging other veterinarians to learn and grow as sonographers, and enjoys instructing at Sonopath’s abdominal and cardiac ultrasound labs.
