Earn 22 CE credits!

Orthopedic ultrasound is a rapidly available dynamic technique that is cost effective, minimally invasive, and can guide precise sampling for cytological analysis and culture of specific lesions but, more importantly give intimate informations regarding joint structures such as partial vs. full cruciate tears, meniscal damage and tear, chronic vs. acute disease, partial or full tendon tears and so on.

We are flying Dr. Nele Ondreka in from Germany for this event. Dr. Ondreka is the head of Diagnostic Imaging and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, at the University of Giessen, Germany. Dr. Ondreka will introduce the latest musculoskeletal ultrasound techniques and applications. Join Dr. Ondreka, Dip.ECVDI and the SonoPath team for 3 days of hands-on training and lecture to rapidly learn and obtain diagnostic orthopedic, small parts, and every type of image set you need to correctly diagnose, and make the right treatment decisions based on the results. The focus of the lab as well as most of the lectures will focus on orthopedic scanning, but we will have a 3-hour block of free scanning to work on any area you need help or improvement on.

Designed for beginners, intermediate, and more advanced sonographers, your learning curve will be rapid and maximized, and you will go home ready to implement immediately.

Areas of Focus:
    •    Stifle: cruciate ligament/menisci
