Dr. Brittany Sinclair grew up in Northern California and moved down under to obtain her veterinary degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia, graduating in 2012. She returned to the US after graduation to complete a rotating internship followed by a 3-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care, both at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Tampa, Florida. She became board certified in Emergency and Critical Care and remained in the Tampa Bay area working in the Critical Care department in the BluePearl Clearwater location.
She was trained in abdominal ultrasound under the guide of veterinary radiologists with the intention that she would be performing diagnostic ultrasound independently by completion of residency. Throughout her residency and since taking over a critical care service, her caseload has included a heavy emphasis on chronic disease work-up, making her comfortable with both acute emergent presentations and those cases requiring more chronic disease management. Since finishing her residency in 2017 she has been performing and interpreting diagnostic ultrasounds not only for her own patients, but for multiple specialty departments and emergency service patients in the hospital.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons enjoying the sunshine and beaches that Florida has to offer!
